We love getting new members! Everyone is welcome, even if you haven't sailed much or at all before. However, if you've never sailed and you aren't sure if you'll like it, we recommend taking a class at the MAC just to try it out. We are not a very big team so commitment and dedication are truly essential member qualities. Unfortunately, grad students cannot compete due to eligibility restrictions, but if you have significant experience you are welcome to practice with us.

Practice is every Monday, Wednesday, Friday (and sometimes Saturday afternoon) at the MAC in Marina Del Rey. We carpool and leave from the turnaround in front of Ackerman Union at 1:00 and 2:00 PM. Every practice is not mandatory (of course classes come first), but the most active members of the team do try to make it to every one.
